Delete Account and Data
This page explains how to delete your Nova: Fitness & Habit Tracker account and the associated app data linked to it.
Overview
You can request deletion of your Nova: Fitness & Habit Tracker account and associated personal data either from within the app, where that feature is available, or by contacting support directly.
Delete in the app
If the deletion feature is available in the app, use these steps:
Open Nova: Fitness & Habit Tracker.
Go to your profile or settings area.
Select the option to delete your account.
Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.
Request by email
If you cannot access the app or prefer manual support, email us at support@novastore.co.za.
Include enough information for us to locate your account, such as:
- Your account email address
- Your display name or profile name
- A short request stating that you want your account deleted

What gets deleted
When your deletion request is completed, we aim to delete or anonymize data such as:
- Account profile information
- Workout logs and activity history
- Progress data, streaks, quest history, and stats
- Preferences, cosmetic selections, and related settings
- Friends-related data associated with your account where applicable
What may be retained
Some limited information may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, financial record-keeping, dispute handling, or compliance obligations.
Platform providers such as app stores may also retain transaction or billing records under their own policies.
Processing and retention timing
We aim to process deletion requests within a reasonable period after verifying the request. In some cases, backups or delayed deletion systems may require additional time before all data is fully removed from active systems.
